“We learn to li…

“We learn to live differently by living differently, not by thinking about living differently. We must take action against our fears. In our brokenness, fear will never completely leave us, but we can stop fear from controlling us” Leslie Vernick.

Living through the abuse is one matter. Living after the abuse and living well is quite another.   My desire is to live differently. Not as a victim, a survivor, or a repaired soul, but as scripture claims is true of me in Christ Jesus: complete, holy, righteous, lacking nothing, a completely new creature.

Today, I’m accepting the dare to respect the work Jesus has done–and is doing–in and through me by sharing my journey: one post at a time.

What’s your next step? How will you chose to live differently and not just thinking about living differently? Are you in Christ? Are you living like it? Ask Jesus in prayer what your next action step is; He is always faithful to answer.

Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creature; the old things passed away; behold, new things have come. 2 Cor. 5.17
